Our mission, methodology, commitment to historical accuracy, and the people behind this initiative.
This website exists because every Indian citizen has the right to know the complete, historically documented truth about their history โ not a version that has been selectively curated for political convenience.
The mainstream teaching of medieval Indian history in Indian schools has systematically omitted, minimized, and euphemized the documented atrocities of rulers like Firoz Shah Tughlaq โ while simultaneously praising them for their public works and administrative achievements. This selective curation constitutes a form of historical dishonesty that dishonors both the victims of those atrocities and the students who are denied this knowledge.
Our mission is simple: present the historical record as documented in primary sources, with complete citations, accessible to every Indian who wants to know.
Every significant claim on this website follows this process:
We apply the same standard of evidence to all claims. If a claim about Firoz Shah's actions cannot be sourced to a credible primary or secondary source, it does not appear on this website.
